La Belle Rose

Like any other girl, I love getting flowers.
Boys have no idea how even just a simple flower can transform a girl's random day into something extraordinary. Sometimes I think that I'm a hopeless romantic boy trapped in a girl's body. I always have crazy surprises in mind and I hope that I could put them all to good use for the right person when the right time comes. :)

As for now, here's an extra special outfit post featuring this floral dress from Sheinside.
I couldn't think of a sweeter way to wear this dress than to just wear it as it is. I loved the silky feel on my skin and the thin petticoat underneath that made the dress bounce as I walked. This is something that I'd definitely love to wear on a dinner date or to a wedding. Because the dress was too pretty, I didn't bother much on accessories except for a few gold details like this gold cocktail ring from Chemjoy.com.

Just to show that the above set of photos was already my second attempt on having this outfit photographed. Boo. I had camera, lighting and OC issues at first but thanks to my mom for being so patient. Here's a lucky shot from that shoot.

Figure Skirting

This is what happens when my inner '50s goddess gets awakened.
Sometimes it's just refreshing to dress like you came from another decade.
I've always seen trends as ever-reincarnating and innovating; and the revival of the '50s fashion is something that I've been wishing to happen. In this generation of cutouts, short shorts and bandage dresses, being trendy may mean wearing prints on prints and bright colors but going back to the '50s just proves that we can still look fashionable in sweet pastels and long A-line skirts without exposing much skin.

This Teapot Lounge Tee from Traffic People actually set the '50s mood for me. If you happen to browse their website, almost all of their collections are in whites or pastels--perfect for days when you feel like being a sweet, girly-girl.

The fair, windy weather ushered my artsy side as well.
I especially loved how this maxi skirt from Choies created various figures as I twirled around.
This is actually on of my favorites OOTDs. Taking these photos was so much fun! And would you believe that my mom was behind these photographs?

Completed this vintage look with a turban and my favorite Prada-esque sunnies.
I added some gold accents for a little boho touch. This cocktail ring from
Chemjoy.com is such a stunner. Apart from cutouts and bejeweled details, it's also very affordable at only $1.99! Chemjoy.com has the prettiest accessories with the lowest prices. They offer FREE WORLDWIDE SHIPPING too!

Lookie lookie, the skirt just formed mini ocean waves and a flower!

Kaleidoscope Dress

Well, hello guys!
Sharing with you now some of the things that I do for the love of blogging--like bathe under the prickling midday sun. No one really knows how heavy the next rainfall will get so its best to embrace sunlight while it's still there. Talk about this bipolar weather and bipolar disorders which I'm coincidentally studying right now. :3

The Ahai Shopping Team was so sweet to send this kaleidoscopic floral dress over along with the hearts top that I wore in my previous post. It somehow has a hypnotic effect on me, I could imagine so many beautiful things happening just by staring at it.

And as promised, I'm wearing these vintage, round sunnies again from Chemjoy.com.
I love how this pair can just go along with whatever I wear. I think I should get more sunnies like these because the roundness compliments the shape of my face. Whatcha think?

FYI, it's not easy to capture perfect hair-flicking moments. HAHA.

I Heart You

Living up to my blogger bio, it's always a colorful summer in my world indeed (even if at least 2 typhoons have already passed the country recently). I'm certainly not a t-shirt person but it's very difficult not to "heartily" welcome this top from Ahai Shopping in my closet. It's the concrete interpretation of  "hearts all over the world" and I feel so inspired and jolly and so much loved just by being in it.

The bipolar weather had a good side after all, as well.
I needn't pretend that it's summer under gloomy skies because the sun shone so brightly during my weekend mornings in Roxas City despite the frequent afternoon showers. So I took out my beach hat from Sammydress that btw, made me feel like some top Lookbooker and these round, vintage sunnies from Chemjoy.com. I've long been looking for the perfect Lennon sunglasses and I'm so happy to have finally found the perfect pair. I hope you won't mind me wearing these sunnies a little more often on my future posts?

And as promised, here's another patternistic bottom from OhKayGanda Boutique
I don't think I'll ever outgrow the stripes trend. It's just too funky and versatile to give up.
