Sweet Sorbet (One Outfit, Three Ways)

Hello guysss! :)
I'm finally back to my regular blogging routine! And to make up for the three-week hiatus, new posts will be published daily this sembreak. A series of giveaways are coming up in celebration of my birthday month as well, yahoo!

For now, here's my version of "One Outfit, Three Ways" featuring this sweet dress from Choies. I hope this inspires you to play with your accessories so you can also confidently wear the same dress and shoes in three different occasions!

1.) The Bride's College BFF.
This look is perfect for an outdoor (e.g. garden) wedding ceremony.

2.) Happy Birthday, Grandma!
For day-to-night family affairs like your Granny's birthday.
Removing the sunnies actually made this look simpler and sweeter. :)

3.) The School Fair.
Back in elementary and high school, wearing new clothes during campus events such as the Mission Sunday Fair, Christmas Parties and the Family Day Celebration seemed an unspoken rule for students. If I could turn back time, I'd wear something like this!

I'm not really comfortable with cats around. So it's tad ironic how I'm wearing more and more faces of creatures from the Family Felidae on my tops and dresses lately. There's something tame and delicate about their eyes (plus the fact that they're not alive and moving) that's getting me more hooked with the trend. Thankfully, Aupie.com was very supportive of my growing addiction and was so kind to send over this cat-face print dress.

This is actually a no brainer ensemble. I've been busy and would often just grab whatever I can from my closet. Hence, the cat-face print dress and leopard booties combo. It was so easy to pull-off but of course, I had to let my girly side out somehow with a floral crown from Rackeight. Isn't it such a standout? I know most girls are still hesitant to wear floral headdresses but it's just a matter of mixing and balancing pieces. Aside from this outfit inspiration, try wearing them with your favorite over-sized tee, denim shorts and gladiator sandals for an effortless look.

Flower Child

So my dad finally decided to buy new lens for our DSLR. Yipee.
You can only imagine me jumping around with giddiness over the turn out of these photos, set after set.
It's been long since I got outfit photos as bright and clear as these. Happiness! :3

I've been planning to make a DIY flower crown for the longest time.
And as they always happen, my first DIY attempts usually end up funny.
Very, very funny. It's really okay to laugh.
Say hello, Mother Nature!
