With three exams and two SGDs, I'm just so HAPPY that this week is finally O-V-E-R!
But really, it's only half of the pain that's done.
I have two more exams in the coming week.
Well I have a bit of Saturday and Sunday, so this is Friday night, and I think I have the right to celebrate by blogposting again and hopefully update Chictopia tomorrow. :)
Med school's keeping me super busy and has been hindering my fashion blogging sideline.
I'm sorry that my entries aren't as continuous as before (or as I'd like them to be).
What I'm in now is no joke.
I'd like to keep everything balanced, but with exams and requirements at every hour, it's nearly impossible to blog and get outfit posts at my usual pacing.
For that, I'm very sorry.
I promise to make up for all of these when I have the time.
Also.
I haven't set foot in my hometown for more than two months already. :(
This makes a far, far difference from my weekly, nothing-is-impossible-as-long-as-I-catch-the-last-bus-trip home visits during my pre-med years.
I know very well that the journey home wouldn't be a fun one though.
If anything, I would be anxious for the piles and piles of books and notes that I would have to deal with once I get back.
The most frightening, if I may say, are exams that happen every Monday.
Well, that doesn't include practical exams, SGDs (small group discussions), and other exams (not scheduled on Mondays) yet.
A thousand thanks to everyone for the comments/emails/tweets you make when you drop by despite the two-month hiatus!
They're really encouraging :)
I'm apparently unprepared for this post, ergo I will be sharing something that I didn't do. :)
My classmates, Erik and Ella exclusively cooked photoshoots for the batch that themed on casual schoolwear back when we still didn't have uniforms.
Everything happened just inside the campus so I hope these would give you guys a mental picture of what path I tread on everyday.
I also had the opportunity to model for one of the shoots. HAHA.
I was awkward but yeah, it was fun!
For now, meet David, the Biker who wants to specialize on Orthopedic Surgery.
And Gilian, the Korean-looking Girl from Davao.
Expect another set on my next post!
*Thank you Erik and Ella for lending me these photos*
:)))
These photos were taken way, way back our first weeks in med school.
I still have longer and darker hair here. :P
Anyway.
I just want the whole world to know how blessed I am to have landed on the same group with these people .
I love you, gulogroupmatess! <3
Got these photos from Ray, Val, and Melchor. :)
On another note, I am very thankful for an opportunity that has come my way. I don't think I can blog about it just yet. But it's a bigtime-firsttime for this blog---something that the girls should watch out for. :)
And....
I've got something that will surely make all the Marians proud.
Click the link below--or better yet, buy the August 2011 issue of Candy Magazine and browse on the Picture Perfect article.
There's that cute guy model there. He's easily recognizable because he's won a lot of gold medals for swimming. Now he's got into medal'ing. HAHA
You grow up so fast, Xavier!
It's time to leave guys 'cause Monday's just around the corner. I would very much love to pass. HAHA
I can't wait for the six-day holiday next week!
FAST FORWARD PLEASE :(
See you next time?
Wish me luck!
Much love,
Mela
